Maximilian II. became to 28.November 1811, as a son of Ludwig I. born. Maximilian was married with Marie Friederike of Prussia, from this marriage originate:

As Crown Prince he bought the ruin of castle Hohenschwangau with 21 years and let her again construct. After the resignation of its father, in the year 1848 he transferred the government.
